Color Theory

Color theory works with the aesthetics and systems of color, emphasizing its definition, replication, and interaction with other design components across various forms of media. Creating a harmonious, consistent color system is one of the most vital elements of successful design.
Drawing in the context of design studies. Utilizing one, two, and three-point perspective for objects and environments, breaking objects down into a combination of various shapes, and applying light and shadow through the blending of alcohol markers allows one to illustrate anything without the need for additional tools such as rulers.

About Me

I am a Graphic Design student at the University of Illinois, Chicago, but my passion for graphic design began much earlier.

My graphic design career began in print production in both high school and at Harper College, where I quickly learned the importance of color management and how helpful a swatch book could really be.

This was, unfortunately, something I had to learn the hard way, but that didn’t matter. I was hooked.

It was my time in print production that inspired me to enroll at UIC. From there, I began to learn design from a digital perspective, as well as hone previous skills.

Now, I study graphic design with the goal of being proficient in both digital and print design, but especially in digital design, given our modern, highly technological world.
